Danny Gatton "The Humbler" CD NG68422 $ 14.95
Live from The Berkeley Square until approximately 1:00 a.m., when the fire department
shut down the show. (There is still speculation as to whether it was the overcrowded
conditions or Gatton's incendiary guitar playing that brought on the fire chief that
evening). Club owner Victor Ratto can be heard on tape breaking the news to Robert
Gordon that he would be allowed one final song. The band closed with, appropriately
enough, a frenetic version of "Red Hot".
