I decided I wanted a Briard after carefull consideration. The only one I had ever met personally was the companion of a purveyor at a sidewalk flea market in Paris. He had great personality and good looks, too. (The dog that is, not the purveyor.) And that description in the AKC Book of Dogs "a heart wrapped in fur." I was hooked. But, when I started to look for a Briard here in my home of Virginia, I was srtiking out.
My partner suggested that I pull up Lycos and do a search under "Briard." I was delighted that in minutes I had pulled up the Briard Home Page and located the Briard Breed Referral who sent me to Lucy's breeder. Voila! I find true puppy love and happiness on the Internet.
