In Stage 1, you will match up same-color segments so they are directly above/below each other on the NORTH and SOUTH POLES.
To solve each color, begin by making same-color segments opposite on the NORTH POLE.
Check your Masterball to see if you have any same-color segments opposite. If not, see How to Make Small Segments Opposite
When two same-color segments are opposite on the NORTH POLE, hold the ball so that one of them faces you. Now locate the SOUTH POLE segment directly below it, and TURN it to the right until it clicks into place. Next, line your fingers up along the vertical groove to the left of the SOUTH POLE segment you just moved and TWIST. Turn the SOUTH POLE segment back to the left until they click into place. The two colors that were opposite are now lined up directly above/below each other.
Repeat these steps until all of the colors are solved.
